HOW TO REACH KHAJURAHO

Khajuraho is well connected by Air, Train and Road.

AIR
Jet Airways and Kingfisher operate a daily flight to Khajuraho from Delhi via Varanasi and
Air India operates three flights per week.
All flight arrive and depart around noon.

TRAINS
From Delhi to Khajuraho:
12448 UP Sampark Kranti runs daily (except Wednesday) via Mathura and Agra.
There is only one three-tier AC coach and one ordinary sleeper coach running directly up to Khajuraho. However, there is a First Class AC, one two-tier AC and one three-tier AC coach up to Mahoba from where a taxi can be arranged to Khajuraho (about 1.5 hr).

There is also a train direct between Varanasi and Khajuraho,
It runs three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) via Allahabad.

Other nearest Stations are Satna and Jhansi from where there are regular bus services to Khajuraho.
Alternatively, people travelling in groups can hire taxis to Khajuraho.

ROAD
There are regular bus services from all major cities of Madhya Pradesh.
